We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our annual Meadow Sports Football Club Summer Tournament 2018.
It promises to be a thrilling weekend of grassroots football, providing small sided games for U6 to U15 age groups.
Tournament Information:
Saturday 16th June AM- U11 AM, U12, U14
Saturday 16th June PM- U13, U15, U11 PM
Saturday games will be full size goals on half pitches, 7 a side (except U11 which will be 9v9 goals)
Sunday 17th June AM- U9, U10, U11 GIRLS
Sunday 17th June PM- U6, U7, U8
Sunday games will be mini-soccer goals, quarter pitches and 5 a side for U6/7 and 7 a side for U8/9/10/11 GIRLS
Teams: Maximum of 12 teams in each age group
Fixtures: 5 Group games + Semi Finals / Final (subject to final confirmation)
Games: 12 minute fixtures (subject to final confirmation)
Formats: U6’s & U7’s : 5v5 (Mini soccer)
U8’s - U10’s: 7v7 (Mini soccer & U11 GIRLS)
U11’s: 7v7 (9-a-side goals)
U12 - U15’s: 7v7 (11-a-side goals)
Squad size: U6’s & U7’s: Maximum 8 players
U8’s – U15’s: Maximum 10 players
Competition: U6’s – U8’s: Festival (Non competitive)
U9’s – U15’s: Competitive Tournament
Tournament Facilities:
Changing Rooms: 6 large changing rooms with use of showers
Club House: Warm friendly environment with recently refurbished Licensed Bar, cafe, catering facilities, multi screen T.V.s
Parking: On-site parking with access for over 250 vehicles
Medical: Medical Room with First Aid assistance on site
